Tomato Fighting Egg
Player Guide

Use movement, timing, and the kitchen itself to win a short 3D food fight. Choose either character against the computer, or share a keyboard with a friend.

Win the match

The first fighter to win two rounds wins the match. Each round lasts 90 seconds. Win by reducing your opponent’s health to zero or knocking them over any gold-trimmed arena edge. You can also walk or roll off an edge yourself, so leave room to stop.

At time, remaining health percentage decides the winner. For example, 60 / 120 loses to 60 / 90. An exact percentage tie starts sudden death: pickups disappear, shields are removed, and the next damaging hit wins. A double knockout awards no point and replays with fresh resources.

Movement follows the screen directions: W moves forward/up, S backward/down, A left, and D right. Arrow keys also control the solo player. Hold the on-screen directional buttons for continuous movement; two buttons together move diagonally. Attacks aim toward the opponent when you begin them, then commit to that direction. The small line in front of your fighter shows facing. Tap an attack to start it; holding a key does not repeatedly attack.

On a phone: drag the left joystick to move and tap the five (Tomato) or six (Egg) right-hand action buttons. Fire throws your character’s food; Splat/Yolk is a special ability, and Egg also has Boil. Cooldown numbers show when each move is available again. Landscape gives more space. Local versus is designed for a desktop keyboard.

Fire and supporters

Q (Player 1) or O (Player 2) fires a small tomato as Tomato or an egg as Egg. Each shot deals 8 base damage with a 0.7-second cooldown. Both fighters can jump over incoming shots. Tomato supporters and egg supporters watch from separate stands and cheer when their fighter fires or wins. Spectators stay outside the fighting platform.

Meet the fighters

Tomato

Tomato · 120 health

Slower and heavier, with strong knockback. A light strike deals 9 base damage. The heavy roll deals 19 and carries tomato forward; a miss leaves a recovery window.

Juicy splat: a six-second slowing puddle.

Ketchup Rage: triggers once per round at 30% health or less. Seven seconds of 25% more damage.

Egg

Egg · 90 health

Faster and more agile, with less health. A light strike deals 7 base damage; the heavy bounce slam deals 15. Both fighters can jump dodge.

Yolk trap: a sticky six-second puddle. Hardboiled: four seconds of reduced damage and knockback, at half movement speed.

A cracked shell shows damage. Hardboiled changes the portrait and shell color; it does not restore health.

Timing beats button mashing

Light attacks are quick. Heavy attacks warn before they hit and recover slowly afterward. Both fighters jump for half a second when dodging, clearing low projectiles and ground puddles while airborne. Dodge grants 0.21 seconds of invulnerability and has a 1.25-second cooldown. When dodging without a movement direction, your fighter retreats from the opponent.

A successful hit gives the defender a short protection window, so one charge or projectile cannot repeatedly deal damage. An active shield absorbs damage before health. Your own puddles do not slow you.

Kitchen pickups

Salt shaker

Salt

30% stronger attacks for eight seconds.

Pepper shaker

Pepper

Disrupts the opponent’s facing and aim for three seconds. Controls remain visible.

Flour bag

Flour

Absorbs up to 22 damage. A new bag refreshes the shield.

Fork

Fork

Three enhanced melee hits with extra range and eight extra base damage.

Pickups first appear after seven seconds, then approximately every twelve seconds. Uncollected items expire. Effects refresh rather than stack; all pickups and temporary effects reset between rounds.

Three arenas

Countertop

Cutting Board Counter

An open fighting platform with no environmental hazards. Keep room behind you when charging, and use knockback to push your opponent over the gold-trimmed edge.

Stove and sink

Stove & Sink

Left-side burner coils glow before heating. The running sink pushes fighters near the right edge. Take the dry center route.

Fridge

Fridge Shelf

Two pale frost patches slow movement and reduce traction. Leave more stopping distance after a roll or dodge.

Pause, sound, and progress

The game pauses when you change tabs or leave the window. Returning does not resume automatically. Open the controls during a match to pause safely. Strikes play a swing sound even when they miss, and Fire plays a distinct tomato pop or egg whoosh when the projectile launches. Use Sound & settings from the menu for independent music and effects volume, reduced motion, and lower graphics resolution.

Win solo matches, or complete a local match, to unlock cosmetics: cherry tomato at one win, golden egg at three, and the scrambled crown at five. Cosmetics keep the same health, collision size, and abilities. Progress stays in this browser when local storage is available; otherwise it lasts for the session.

This is a fictional food-fighting game. Shell toughness, ketchup rage, seasoning buffs, hardboiled transformations, and combat effects are playful mechanics rather than biological or cooking simulations. The approved generated artwork supplies portraits, scenery, effects, and material references; the moving fighters use separate animated 3D geometry.

Edge warnings and flexible movement

A red line with inner dashes marks the nearby edge when your fighter gets close to falling. Move toward the center to clear the warning. In local versus, either player can trigger it.

Use diagonal directions or the analog stick to move freely. Release movement to brake, change direction to turn quickly, and steer after the first moment of a jump. Frost still makes the arena slippery. The Marsnut rocket cheers from the center spectator seat.
