THE BOTANICAL BUILD STUDIO

Build from the inside out.

Place eight kinds of structures across three plant cell blueprints. Read the functional clues, assemble each cell, then explore a chloroplast-rich leaf cell and a root hair cell.

Timer, points and organelle counts are game mechanics. Biological processes do not occur on this game clock.

FIELD GUIDE

How to Play

  1. Select a structure from the tray, then tap a numbered site. You can also drag a tray card directly onto a site with a mouse, pen or touch.
  2. Tap an empty site without selecting a part to read its functional clue. Number keys 1–8 select tray parts. Use Tab and Enter to place parts.
  3. Each correct placement earns 30 points. A wrong placement subtracts 5 points, with a floor of zero. Hints are free.
  4. Complete all sites and press Next cell. The leaf blueprint uses more chloroplast symbols; the underground root hair blueprint uses none.
  5. The timed build lasts 120 seconds across all three cells. Pause or How to Play freezes the clock. Explore mode has no deadline.
  6. Press P to pause or resume. Music and Restart are available above the board. Finished cells earn 100 bonus points; completing all three ends the build.
